Santa Clarita Custom Air, Inc. Heating & Air Conditioning Tune-Up & Inspection
Our 15-Point Precision Tune-Up and Professional Cleaning (PTPC) provides your establishment with enhanced equipment safety and efficiency, and extends the life of your equipment. It includes the following:
- Clean and inspect blower and fan assembly.
- Clean condenser coil and evaporator coil; when readily accessible. (Chemical cleaning will be billed as an extra.)
- Replace air-filters w/ pleated filters.
- Lubricate all lube-able moving parts.
- Adjust all drive belts and pulleys.
- Test all safety controls/devices
- Test, secure, and tighten all electrical connections and terminals.
- Clean burners, and pilot assemblies.
- Inspect heat exchanger(s), flue assembly, burners, and draft diverters.
- Vacuum clean all combustion, flue, and blower compartments
- Activate heating or cooling system.
- Test all motors, starting capacitors, run capacitors, and potential relays.
- Test, measure, and record operating temperature and pressures.
- During the heating season, electronically test for poisonous, deadly carbon monoxide gas.
- Test for gas leaks.

Having your system correctly diagnosed is incredibly important if you want to ensure that you are paying for repairs that will resolve your cooling issues for as long as possible. At Santa Clarita Custom Air, Inc., we use advanced diagnostic equipment and make sure that our service technicians are up to date on the industry's best practices for AC service and repair. You can trust them to get the job done right the first time, every time.
When you call to make a service appointment, we will charge a set travel fee that includes up to a half-hour of diagnostic time. Beyond that, there will be a nominal fee for labor costs. Once we know what repairs are needed, we will give you an upfront quote based upon the prices outlined in our price book. We don't raise our prices during high-demand seasons and don't have sales quotas for our technicians, which ensures that there is no incentive to sell you anything you don't need. However, if we do think it would be in your best interest to replace or upgrade your air conditioning system, because of the age of your system or its level of inefficiency, then we will let you know so that you can make a well-informed decision to repair or replace it.
